What exactly is CBD?
CBD is an abbreviation of cannabidiol, which is a substance found in cannabis/hemp. After THC, CBD is the most well-known active substance in cannabis.
The substance CBD itself does not have any psychoactive effects, which THC have.
CBD and THC belong to the cannabinoids and are extracted from the buds of a cannabis/hemp plant. These substances are very similar to the body's own substances "anandamide and 2-AG" and work on the body's own cannabinoid system.
In recent years, products containing CBD, such as CBD oil, have become increasingly popular. CBD is said to help with various ailments and problems, such as insomnia, anxiety and restlessness.
Medical uses of CBD
CBD has become increasingly popular in recent years because of the benefits people say it has.
It would help you physically and mentally against various complaints such as: anxiety attacks, inflammation, epilepsy, chronic pain, psychoses, sleeping problems and more.
A number of studies have shown that CBD helps against epileptic seizures and is now approved as a medicine (Epidiolex). In case of a rare form of epilepsy in children, it would also inhibit anxiety and nausea and possibly rheumatoid arthritis. The scientific evidence is not yet conclusive for all applications.
However, anecdotal evidence shows that cannabis oil can have benefits for the human and even animal bodies.
